Is keeping rent below 25% of your income now unrealistic?

It seems many are forced to dedicate nearly half their earnings on housing instead of the ideal quarter. What alternatives or strategies might exist to reverse this trend?

I think exploring co-living or remote/working-from-outside hubs might be interesting angles. Have you seen any creative ideas to tackle rising housing costs? What do you think could work best?

i reckon local cooperitives and microhousing might help ease the pinch. governments should think outta the box for subsidized tiny dwellings. its not ideal but could lower costs.
