Effective Cold Outreach Strategies for Property Management Software

Hi folks,

I’ve got a property management software that helps with lease closures. I’m trying to reach out to specialized property management and multifamily businesses, but my cold email game needs work.

Right now, I’m using a mix of emails, LinkedIn messages, and some phone calls. I put leads through a week-long pipeline, sending about 3-5 emails each. We’re a small operation, so we can’t blast out thousands of emails weekly.

What’s your take on cold outreach in real estate? Any dos and don’ts? I’m all ears for advice on making my strategy better. What’s worked well for you? What should I avoid?

Thanks for any tips you can share!

Have you considered leveraging content marketing as part of your outreach strategy? Creating valuable, educational content like blog posts or whitepapers about property management best practices could help establish your expertise. You could then share these resources in your outreach emails or on social media to provide immediate value to prospects. This approach often works well for software companies, as it allows you to showcase your industry knowledge while subtly demonstrating how your product solves common pain points. It might take more time upfront, but it could lead to warmer, more receptive leads in the long run. Just a thought to potentially complement your current tactics.

Have you considered creating short video demos? I’ve heard they can be super effective for showcasing software features. Maybe you could send those instead of just emails? It might grab attention better. What do you think about trying that approach?

hey, have you tried reaching out thru industry events or forums? sometimes chatting with ppl face-to-face or in online communities can be more effective than cold emails. you could share your expertise and subtly mention your software. might get more genuine leads that way
