Hi everyone! I’ve got an Insta360 X4 camera and a selfie stick. I’m trying to make a virtual house tour. I want to stitch together 360-degree photos so people can explore the property online.
I’ve spent a lot of time searching for a solution. Most options I found require a monthly fee. Does anyone know of a free tool to create this kind of virtual tour? I don’t need fancy features - just basic navigation to move between viewpoints and look around.
It’s for a one-time project, so I’m really hoping to find something that doesn’t cost anything. Any suggestions would be super helpful! Thanks in advance for your ideas.
hey sarah84, have u tried marzipano? its free and open source. i used it for a similar project last year. Pretty basic but gets the job done. u might need to mess with some code tho. good luck with ur virtual tour!
Have you considered using Google Tour Creator? It’s free and pretty user-friendly. I’m curious about your project - what kind of property are you showcasing? Any unique features you’re excited to highlight in the virtual tour? It’d be cool to hear more about your experience with the Insta360 X4 too!
I’ve had success using Pannellum for creating virtual tours without any cost. It’s an open-source viewer that works well with 360-degree images. The setup process involves some HTML and JavaScript, but there are tutorials available online to guide you through it. While it may require a bit more technical effort compared to paid solutions, Pannellum offers good customization options and smooth navigation between viewpoints. Just be prepared to invest some time in learning how to implement it effectively for your property walkthrough project.
