I just got an updated escrow statement from my bank, and I’m totally shocked. My property taxes shot up by $2400 this year! That’s a huge jump.
I’m really feeling the squeeze here in Philly. The city’s tax policies are making it harder and harder for homeowners like me to keep up. It’s getting ridiculous.
Anyone else dealing with crazy tax increases? How are you handling it? I’m starting to wonder if owning a home here is even worth it anymore.

ugh, i feel ur pain! property taxes in philly r outta control. mine went up $1800 last year n im struggling. considered appealing but its such a hassle. maybe we need to band together n demand changes from city hall? this cant go on forever
